After a couple of days of drizzle the heavens opened this afternoon. 15mm in a few minutes, drain pipes spewing and water pouring into my tanks. There are few sounds I love more than the gush of my tanks filling, it brings out all my survivalist instincts.

It’s not enough to end the terrible dryness, or make us pack away the desalination plant, but it’s a good start.

    Isn’t a good rain wonderful? Especially for you, dependent on it more directly than we are.
